Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage Chapter: Matters Preferable to Do During the Night of Marriage 1- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ فِي التَّزْوِيجِ قَالَ ٠ِنَ السُّنَّةِ التَّزْوِيجُ بِاللَّيْلِ لأنَّ اللهَ جَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ سَكَناً وَالنِّسَاءُ إِنَّ٠1.

Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-ffassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ who has said the following: “I once heard al-Rida’ (a.s.), saying, ‘It is of the Sunnah to become married during the night because Allah has made the night for rest and comfort and women are (to provide) ease and comfort.”’ شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (0/85))
