Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage Chapter: Giving Children in Marriage and Arranging Marriage for Them َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ عَنِ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ ٠) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ كَانَ لَهُ وُلْدٌ فَزَوَّجَ ٠ُ اثْنَيْنِ وَفَرَضَ الصَّدَاقَ ثُ٠ِنْ أَيْنَ يُحْسَبُ الصَّدَاقُ ٠َنْزِلَةِ الدَّيْنِ.

He (the Imam) said in such case, ‘It is from the whole of the legacy because it is like debts.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (20/141))
