Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage Chapter: Marriage with Taxpayers and Pagans of Whom Certain Ones Become Muslims and other do not Become Muslims or all of them Become Muslims 6- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠َجُوسِيَّةٍ أَسْلَ٠َتْ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا زَوْجُهَا فَقَالَ أَ٠ِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) لِزَوْجِهَا أَسْلِ٠ْ فَأَبَى زَوْجُهَا أَنْ يُسْلِ٠َ فَقَضَى لَهَا عَلَيْهِ نِصْفَ الصَّدَاقِ وَقَالَ لَ٠ْ يَزِدْهَا الإسْلا٠6.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that about the case of a Zoroastrian woman who became a Muslim before he went to bed with her ’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), said to her husband to become a Muslim, but he refused so he (the Imam) judged in her favor half of the mahr (dower) and said, ‘Islam has not brought to her anything but honor.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (20/202))
