Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage 4- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْ٠َّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) عَرَضْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) ابْنَةَ حَ٠ْزَةَ فَقَالَ أَ٠ْتَ أَنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي ٠4.

Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Hassan ibn Ali from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from those who narrated to him who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘The daughter of Hamzah was proposed to the Messenger of Allah (saww) for marriage and he (the Messenger of Allah) said, “Did you not know that she is a daughter of my brother because of breastfeeding?'" شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (0/203))
