Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage Chapter: Limits of Breastfeeding to Take Effect 1- الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) يَقُولُ لا يُحَرِّ٠ِنَ الرَّضَاعِ إِلا ٠َا أَنْبَتَ اللَّحْ٠َ وَشَدَّ الْعَظْ٠1.

Al-Husayn from Muhammad has narrated from Mu’alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-ffassan ibn Ali al-Washsha’ from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘Breastfeeding does not bring unlawfulness unless it makes the flesh to grow and the bones to strengthen.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (20/205))
