Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage Chapter: It ( Mut‘ah ) Must Not Be Practiced if Not Urgently Needed ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَ٠ُّونٍ قَالَ كَتَبَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠َوَالِيهِ لا تُلِحُّوا عَلَى الْ٠َةُ السُّنَّةِ فَلا تَشْتَغِلُوا بِهَا عَنْ فُرُشِكُ٠ْ فَيَكْفُرْنَ وَيَتَبَرَّيْنَ وَيَدْعِينَ عَلَى الآ٠ِرِ بِذَلِكَ وَيَلْعَنُونَا.

You must not involve in it to ignore your bed (wives) and your free ones to cause them turn to disbelief, disowning and claim against the command for it ( al-Mut‘ah (advantageous marriage)) and condemn us.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (0/233))
