A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr and âAbd al-Rahman ibn abu Najran from âAsem ibn Hamid from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: âIn to my question before abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about how much mahr (dower) is - in al-Mutâah (advantageous marriage), he (the Imam) said, âIt is whatever they agree on, up to the time they want.ââ Ø´ÙÙر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (20/241))
