6.A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan Shammun from âAbd Allah ibn âAbd al- Rahman from Mismaâ abu Sayyariy who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said that of the matters for which the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, took pledges from the women was that they must not sit in Ihtibah position and must not sit with men privately.â ( Ihtibah is sitting with knees and thighs raised against oneâs belly when sitting on oneâs hips, using oneâs arms or a piece of cloth as a ring around the knees and waist) Ø´ÙÙر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (20/338))
