Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage Chapter: Lawful Matters for a Husband during His Wife’s Menses 5- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َيْرٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ عُذَافِرٍ الصَّيْرَفِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) تَرَى هَؤُلاءِ الْ٠ُشَوَّهِينَ خَلْقُهُ٠ْ قَالَ قُلْتُ نَعَ٠ْ قَالَ هَؤُلاءِ الَّذِينَ آبَاؤُهُ٠ْ يَأْتُونَ نِسَاءَهُ٠5.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from al-Hassan ibn ‘Atiyyah from ‘Adhafir al-Sayrafiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), asked, ‘Do you see those who are born with deformities?’ I replied, ‘Yes, I see them.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is because their fathers go to bed with their wives during their experiencing Hayd (menses).”’ جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (0/382))
