Al-Kāfi - The Book of ‘Aqiqah (Offering Animal Sacrifice for a Newborn Child) Chapter: The Preferable and Non-preferable Milk عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَ٠َّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ ٠ٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ لَبَنُ الْيَهُودِيَّةِ وَ النَّصْرَانِيَّةِ وَ الْ٠َجُوسِيَّةِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ ٠ِنْ لَبَنِ وَلَدِ الزِّنَا 5.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father, from Hammad from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘The milk of a Jewish, a Christian or a Zoroastrian woman is more likeable to me than the milk of a woman because of fornication.’ He (the Imam) would not consider it unlawful if the breastfeeding woman is a slave-girl who has committed fornication and her master gives permission.” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (21/76))
