Al-Kāfi - The Book of ‘Aqiqah (Offering Animal Sacrifice for a Newborn Child) َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ٠َّدٍ الْبَجَلِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) أَحِبُّوا الصِّبْيَانَ وَ ارْحَ٠ْ وَ إِذَا وَعَدْتُ٠ْ شَيْئاً فَفُوا لَهُ٠ْ لَا يَدْرُونَ إِلَّا أَنَّكُ٠3.

Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Ali ibn Faddal from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Bajaliy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘You must love children and be kind to them.
