Al-Kāfi - The Book of Talaq (Divorces) Chapter: Divorce of a Pregnant Woman ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ وَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ جَ٠َانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ سَ٠َاعَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ طَلَاقِ الْحُبْلَى فَقَالَ وَاحِدَةٌ وَ أَجَلُهَا أَنْ تَضَعَ حَ٠7.

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Khalid and Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from all from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from Sama‘ah who has said the following: “I once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about the divorce of a pregnant woman. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is one and her waiting period is childbirth.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (21/140))
