Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from ibn Samaâah from Muhammad ibn Ziyad from âAbd Allah ibn Sinan and Muâawiyah ibn âAmmar who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a widow; if she must complete her waiting period in her home or wherever she wants.
He (the Imam) said, âIt is wherever she wants; Ali (a.s.), brought âUmm Kulthum to his home when âUmar died.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (21/197))
