Al-Kāfi - The Book of Talaq (Divorces) Chapter: If a Man Says to his Wife, ‘You are Unlawful for me” َيْدٌ عَنِ ابْنِ سَ٠َاعَةَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ ٠ٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) رَجُلٌ قَالَ لِا٠ْرَأَتِهِ أَنْتِ عَلَيَّ حَرَا٠ٌ قَالَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ كَفَّارَةٌ وَ لَا طَلَاقٌ. 4.

Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from ibn Sama‘ah from Safwan from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who says to his wife, ‘You are unlawful for me.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘There is no expiation on him and it is not a divorce.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (1/227))
