2.A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Khalid and Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father all from âUthman ibn âIsa from Samaâah who has said the following: âI once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about the case of a man who says to his wife, âYou from my side are free and cleared.â He (the Imam) said, âIt does not have any valid effect.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (21/228))
