1.Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from Thaâlabah ibn Maymun from Burayd ibn Muâawiyah al-âIjliy from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: âAbu Jaâfar (a.s.), has said, âWhatever is hunted by swords, arrows and spears are lawful to use for food.â He (the Imam) was asked about the prey, which is assigned to several people in portions before it dies.
He (the Imam) said, âIt is not unlawful.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (21/346))
