Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Samaâah from more than one person from Aban ibn âUthman from â Abd al-Rahman ibn abu â Abd Allah who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âIf a prey is caught in a snare and certain part of it is cut off, it is dead, but what you find alive of the rest of the body you can slaughter it properly and use it for food.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (1/353))
