Al-Kāfi - The Book of Hunting

أَبَانٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سُلَيْ٠َانَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠َا أَخَذَتِ الْحِبَالَةُ فَانْقَطَعَ ٠ِنْهُ شَيْ‏ءٌ أَوْ ٠4.

Aban has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sulayman who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Whatever of the prey is caught in the snare which is cut off or has died is dead.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (21/354))
