5.A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from âUthman ibn âIsa from abu Basir who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about fishing by Zoroastrian and Jews by means of fishing nets without a mention of the name of Allah. He (the Imam) said, âIt is not unlawful, fishing is to catch it alive.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (1/357))
