Chapter: Another Chapter on the Same Topic حَنَانُ بْنُ سَدِيرٍ قَالَ أَهْدَى الْفَيْضُ بْنُ الْ٠ُخْتَارِ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) رَبِيثَا فَأَدْخَلَهَا إِلَيْهِ وَ أَنَا عِنْدَهُ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهَا وَ قَالَ هَذِهِ لَهَا قِشْرٌ فَأَكَلَ ٠ِنْهُ وَ نَحْنُ نَرَاهُ. 8.

Hanan ibn Sadir has the following: “Once, al-Fayd ibn al-Mukhtar sent rabitha as gift to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.). It was brought for him when I was present. He (the Imam) looked at it and said, ‘This has scales.’ He (the Imam) ate thereof and we saw him eating.”’ وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (1/365))
