Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

Chapter: Eating and drinking in Gold and Silver Utensils عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠َّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ لَا تَأْكُلْ فِي آنِيَةٍ ٠ِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَ لَا فِي آنِيَةٍ ٠3.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Do not eat from the utensils of silver or that which is silver-coated.’” حسن - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/67))
