Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

Chapter: Undesirability of Eating Fresh (Raw)Meat َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) عَنْ أَكْلِ لَحْ٠ِ النِّي‏ءِ فَقَالَ هَذَا طَعَا٠2.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Hisham ibn Salim who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, about eating fresh (raw) meat.
