Chapter: The Khali (Wine Turned to Vinegar) َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠َاعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ خَلُّ الْخَ٠ْرِ يَشُدُّ اللِّثَةَ وَ يَقْتُلُ دَوَابَّ الْبَطْنِ وَ يَشُدُّ الْعَقْلَ. 9.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Sama‘ah who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Vinegar of wine strengthens tooth gum, kills dawab in the belly and strengthens the ability to understand.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/159))
