Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

َّدِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ عَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلا٠) أَوْ قَالَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ السُّكَّرُ الطَّبَرْزَدُ يَأْكُلُ الْبَلْغَ٠4.

Ahmad ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn Sahl from al-Rida’ (a.s.), or certain persons of our people from al-Rida’ who has said the following: “Al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, the sugar which is chipped with a hammer eats away (abolishes) phlegm entirely.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/164))
