Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عُثْ٠َانَ بْنِ عِيسَى عَ٠َّنْ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠ُ الْأَرُزُّ وَ إِنَّا لَنَدَّخِرُهُ لِ٠4.

A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from those who narrated to him who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Rice is very good food and we preserve it for our people who suffer from illnesses.’” رسل - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/176))
