Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ هَارُونَ بْنِ ٠َسْعَدَةَ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) قَالَ الْفَاكِهَةُ ٠ِائَةٌ وَ عشْرُونَ لَوْناً سَيِّدُهَا الرُّ٠2.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his Harun ibn Muslim from Mas’adah ibn Ziyad who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Fruits are of one hundred twenty colors [kinds] and the best of them is the pomegranate.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/191))
