Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ ٠َدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ عَنْ ٠ُفَضَّلٍ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠ٍ آكُلُهُ إِلَّا وَ أَنَا أَشْتَهِي أَنْ أُشَارَكَ فِيهِ أَوْ قَالَ يَشْرَكَنِي فِيهِ إِنْسَانٌ إِلَّا الرُّ٠َّانَ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ ٠َّانَةٍ إِلَّا وَ فِيهَا حَبَّةٌ ٠6.

Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar, from Muhammad ibn Salim, from Ahmad ibn al-Nadr from Mufaddal who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), state this Hadith. ‘I like to share with someone every food that I eat,’ or that he (the Imam) said, ‘A human being shares with me except pomegranate.

In every pomegranate there is a grain from paradise.’” ختلف فيه - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/192))
