Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠َنْ أَكَلَ الْجِرْجِيرَ بِاللَّيْلِ ضَرَبَ عَلَيْهِ عِرْقُ الْجُذَا٠ِنْ أَنْفِهِ وَ بَاتَ يُنْزَفُ الدَّ٠2.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘If one eats watercress during the night the vein of leprosy will hit him from his nose and blood will flow thereof.”’ شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/212))
