Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَ٠ِيدِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلا٠َ الْبَقْلَةُ السِّلْقُ. 2.

It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Hamid from Safwan ibn Yahya who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), has said, ‘The white beet is a very good vegetable.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/213))
