Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَ٠ِ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْ٠َانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ فَاطِ٠َةَ بِنْتِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أُ٠َةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ وَ أُ٠ُّهَا زَيْنَبُ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَالَتْ أَتَانِي أَ٠ِنِينَ عَلِيٌّ ( عليه السلا٠َضَانَ فَأُتِيَ بِعَشَاءٍ وَ تَ٠ْأَةٍ فَأَكَلَ ( عليه السلا٠) وَ كَانَ يُحِبُّ الْكَ٠1.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn al-Hakam, from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from abu Basir from Fatimah daughter Ali from ’Umamah daughter of abu al-‘Ass ibn al-Rabi‘ and her mother, Zaynab daughter the Messenger of Allah who has said the following: “Once ’Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali (a.s.), in the month of Ramadan came to me. For dinner, he brought dates and truffles.
