Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Bandar from his father from Muhammad ibn Ali al-Hamadaniy from Hanan who has said the following: âI once heard abu â Abd Allah (a.s.), saying; when I was with him at the table of food, he gave me a piece of radish and said, âO Hanan, you must eat radish because there are three qualities in it; its leaves repel gas, its essence quickens urine, and its root cuts off phlegm.â In another Hadith it is said that its leaves make it pleasant.â ضعÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (22/217))
