Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Saâid from Hammad from Shuâayb from abu Basir who has said the following: âOnce abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), was asked about garlic, onion and leek.
He (the Imam) said, âEating them is not unlawful and in cooking pots, or for treating illnesses with garlic, however, if anyone of you eats it he must not go out to Masjid.ââ صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (22/221))
