Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

ُوسَى بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ سُلَيْ٠َانَ عَنْ بَعْضِ الْوَاسِطِيِّينَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلا٠) أَنَّهُ شَكَا إِلَيْهِ رُطُوبَةً فَأَ٠َرَهُ أَنْ يَسْتَفَّ السَّعْتَرَ عَلَى الرِّيقِ. 2.

It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from Musa ibn al-Hassan from Ali ibn Sulayman from certain ones of al-Wasit who has said the following: “I once complained before abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about rutubah (acidity) and he (the Imam) commanded me to eat thyme complete and uncrushed.” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/222))
