Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Kulayb al-Saydawiy who has said the following: âI once heard abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), saying, âThe Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, addressed the people in which he (the Messenger of Allah) said, âEvery intoxicating liquor is unlawful for consumption.âââ ØØ³Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (22/265))
