Chapter: The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has Prohibited all Intoxicating Liquor of a Small or Large Quantity عÙÙÙÙÙ٠بÙÙÙ Ø¥ÙØ¨ÙØ±ÙØ§ÙÙÙ٠٠عÙÙÙ Ø£ÙØ¨ÙÙÙ٠عÙÙ٠ابÙÙÙ Ø£ÙØ¨Ù٠عÙÙ ÙØ±Ù بÙÙÙ Ø£ÙØ°ÙÙÙÙÙØ©Ù عÙÙ٠اÙÙÙÙØ¶ÙÙÙÙ٠بÙÙÙ ÙÙØ³Ùار٠ÙÙØ§ÙÙ Ø§Ø¨ÙØªÙØ¯ÙØ£ÙÙÙÙ Ø£ÙØ¨ÙÙ Ø¹ÙØ¨Ùد٠اÙÙÙÙÙÙ ( عÙÙÙ Ø§ÙØ³Ùا٠ÙÙ٠غÙÙÙØ±Ù Ø£ÙÙÙ Ø£ÙØ³ÙØ£ÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙÙÙØ§ÙÙ ÙÙØ§ÙÙ Ø±ÙØ³ÙÙÙ٠اÙÙÙÙÙÙ ( صÙ٠اÙÙ٠عÙÙÙ ÙØ¢ÙÙ ) ÙÙÙÙÙ Ù Ù ÙÙØ§ÙÙ ÙÙÙÙØªÙ Ø£ÙØµÙÙÙØÙÙ٠اÙÙÙÙÙÙ ÙÙÙÙÙÙÙ ØÙØ±ÙØ§Ù 9.
Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from âUmar ibn âUdhaynah from al-Fudayl ibn Yasar who has said the following: âOne day abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), initiating from himself and without my asking said, âThe Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, all intoxicating liquor is unlawful.â I then asked saying, âI pray to Allah to keep you well, is all of it unlawful?â He (the Imam) said, âYes, even one sip is unlawful.ââ ØØ³Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (22/267))
