A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muâawiyah ibn Hakim from abu Malik al-Hadramiy from abu al- Jarud who has said the following: âI once asked abu Jaâfar (a.s.), about al-Nabidh; if it is wine. He (the Imam) said, âWhatever upon drinking is more pleasurable than not drinking, it is wine.ââ Ø´ÙÙر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (2/271))
