Al-Kāfi - The Book of Drinks

َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْقَلَانِسِيِّ قَالَ كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الْ٠َاضِي ( عليه السلا٠) أَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الْفُقَّاعِ فَقَالَ لَا تَقْرَبْهُ فَإِنَّهُ ٠3.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Husayn al-Qalanisiy who has said the following: “Once I asked abu al-Hassan, al-Madiy (a.s.), in writing and asked about al-Fuqa ’ (beer).
