8.Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from âAbd al-Malik al-Qummiy who has said the following: âOnce, my brother Idris and I were with abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), and Idris said, âI pray to Allah to keep our souls in service for your cause, what is al-Maysir?â He (the Imam) said, âIt is chess.â I then said that they say it is dice.â He (the Imam) said, âDice also is al-Maysir (gambling).ââ Ø´ÙÙر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (22/309))
