Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness Chapter: Dress Causing Public Abhorrence َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْجَارُودِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلا٠َنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْباً يَشْهَرُهُ كَسَاهُ اللَّهُ يَوْ٠4.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from abu al-Jarud from abu Sa‘id who has said the following: “Al-Husayn (a.s.), has said, ‘If one wears a dress that causes public abhorrence, Allah on the Day of Judgment will make him to wear a dress of fire.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/321))
