Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness Chapter: Clothes Dyed with al-MiCasfar (dye with safflower) الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ ٠ِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ عَنْ ٠) قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ بِلُبْسِ الْ٠2.

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla’ ibn Muhammad from al-Washsha’ from Muhammad ibn Humran and Jamil ibn Darraj from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “One of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘It is not unlawful to wear a cloth which is dyed with al-Mu‘asfar (dye with safflower)/” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/324))
