Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from â Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: âAbout the meaning of the words of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious,.. and cleanse your clothesâ, (74:4) abu £ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, âIt means lift up (cut short) your clothes (instead of dragging them on the ground).ââ Øس٠- Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (22/336))
