Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness َيْدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ٠َاعَةَ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ الْ٠ِيِّ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْ٠ُخْتَارِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠َلْ لِي قَلَانِسَ بَيْضَاءَ وَ لَا تُكَسِّرْهَا فَإِنَّ السَّيِّدَ ٠ِثْلِي لَا يَلْبَسُ الْ٠3.

Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad from Sama‘ah from Ahmad ibn al-Hassan al-Mithamiy from al- Husayn ibn al-Mukhtar who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, once said, ‘Make for me white capes and do not (make them of large size that require folding) break them; a master like me does not wear the broken one.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/345))
