Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Kufiy has narrated from Ali ibn al-Hassan al-Taymiy from al-âAbbas ibn âAmir from Aban ibn âUthman from âAbd al-Rahman ibn abu âAbd Allah who has said the following: âOnce I was with abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), when he visited a man.
On his arrival he took off his shoes and then said, âYou must take off your shoes; when shoes are removed the feet receive more comfort and rest.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (2/349))
