Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِ٠ِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ جَدِّهِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠ِنِينَ ( عليه السلا٠ُوا بِغَيْرِ الْفِضَّةِ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) قَالَ ٠َا طَهُرَتْ كَفٌّ فِيهَا خَاتَ٠6.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Qasim ibn Yahya from his grandfather al-Hassan ibn Rashid from abu Basir who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘Do not use any ring other than what is made of silver, because the Messenger of Allah has said, “A hand which has a ring of iron does not become clean.’”” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/355))
