Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness Chapter: Clipping the finger Nails عَنْهُ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠ُ الْأَظْفَارِ وَ أَخْذُ الشَّارِبِ فِي كُلِّ جُ٠ِنَ الْبَرَصِ وَ الْجُنُونِ. 4.

It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from ibn Faddal from ibn Bukayr who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ’Clipping fingernails and mustache every Friday is immunity from albinism and insanity.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/387))
