A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr from ibn ‘Uqbah from his father who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘It is of Sunnah to clip one’s fingernails.’” شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/387))
