Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn âIsa from âRibâiy ibn â Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: âI once asked Abu Jaâfar (a.s.), if âAmir al-Muâminin (a.s.) prohibited reading al-Quran in a bathhouse. He (the Imam) said, âNo, however, he prohibited reading while nude but if one has a loincloth on him, then it is not harmful.
