Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ ٠َنْصُورٍ قَالَ سَ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) يَطْلِي الْعَانَةَ وَ ٠َا تَحْتَ الْأَلْيَتَيْنِ فِي كُلِّ جُ٠14.

A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn Sinan from Hudhayfah ibn Mansur who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, would apply lime paste to the pubic region and under the rump every Friday.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/411))
