Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness Chapter: Al-Khuluq (a kind of Perfume of Yellow Color) َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلا٠) عَنِ الْخَلُوقِ آخُذُ ٠ِنْهُ قَالَ لَا بَأْسَ وَ لَكِنْ لَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ تَدُو٠1.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from ibn Bukayr from Zurarah who has said the following: “I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about al-Khuluq; if I can use it. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not harmful but I do not like for you to continuously use it.’” وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/424))
