Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ الْجَعْفَرِيِّ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلا٠) يَبْقَى رِيحُ الْعُودِ الَّتِي فِي الْبَدَنِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْ٠اً وَ يَبْقَى رِيحُ عُودِ الْ٠ُطَرَّاةِ عِشْرِينَ يَوْ٠1.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ali ibn Ibrahim al-Ja‘fariy from certain persons of his people in a marfu‘ manner has said the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘The fragrance of aloe that is in the body remains for forty days but the fragrance of the prepared aloe remains for twenty days.’” رفوع - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (2/425))
